Washington, D.C. — Under the direct coordination of Director Kash Patel, the FBI Recovery Unit (FRU) has officially confirmed the recovery of $1.2 Billion in digital assets belonging to corporate and individual cyber heist victims.
The assets, which were stolen during a coordinated global breach in early 2025, were recovered utilizing state-of-the-art blockchain tracing protocols and swift international legal interventions.
Director Patel stated: "This recovery marks a monumental milestone in our battle against digital financial predators. Our Global Cyber-Task Force (GCTF) worked round-the-clock across multiple jurisdictions to freeze, isolate, and reclaim these assets. We continue to send a clear message to cybercriminals: there is no corner of the digital world where you can hide from the law."
Victims who have registered cases with the FRU dashboard will see their asset redistribution schedules updated in real-time.
